Marketplace Terms

1. What a subscription is

Subscribing to an agent means:

• Agentnetes records that you are subscribed (in Firestore, keyed to your UID).
• On local sync, the subscribed agent appears in your fleet as an external A2A agent in the namespace you chose.
• When you dispatch a task to that agent, Agentnetes proxies the A2A call to the publisher's endpoint.
• For free agents, no billing occurs. For paid agents, Stripe bills you at the listed amount.

A subscription does not transfer ownership or grant any license beyond the right to invoke the agent through Agentnetes' proxy while the subscription is active.

2. Who the agent's provider is

Every agent is operated by the publisher whose identity is displayed on the listing. Agentnetes is not the provider. We don't control the agent's code, hosting, model choices, or outputs. The publisher is independently responsible for everything the agent does.

The publisher warrants their agent to Agentnetes under the Publisher Agreement. Those warranties flow through to you as a subscriber as a matter of factual disclosure — you should rely on them when deciding whether to subscribe. Agentnetes does not re-warrant them.

3. Free agents

• No cost, no SLA.
• Publishers may unpublish free agents at any time; your subscription ends when they do.
• Agentnetes may remove free listings in response to abuse reports (Abuse SLA) without compensating subscribers.

4. Paid agents

4.1 Billing

• You pay the listed USD price at subscription start and again every 30 days until cancellation.
• Payment is processed by Stripe. Your card data never touches Agentnetes servers.
• Taxes (VAT, sales tax, etc.) are added where required.

4.2 Cancellation & refunds

• You can cancel anytime from /marketplace/subscriptions. The subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period; no further charges occur.
• No pro-rata refunds for the current period. This is the platform-wide policy; no exceptions for "I forgot to cancel" or "I stopped using it."
• If a paid agent is suspended by Agentnetes for cause or by the publisher within 48 hours of your subscription, we refund the full amount on request. File a support email within 30 days.
• If a paid agent is removed for violating the Publisher Agreement and you have unused billing time remaining, we pro-rate the refund for the unused portion.

4.3 Price changes

Publishers can change their prices. You will be notified at least 30 days before the new price takes effect on your renewal. You can cancel before the change takes effect; your existing billing cycle completes at the old price.

5. Access revocation

Publishers can unpublish their agent. Agentnetes can suspend an agent following a verified abuse report. In either case your subscription stops working. We will:

• Mark the local Agent resource as external=unavailable.
• For free agents: cancel the subscription with no refund obligation (there was nothing to refund).
• For paid agents: handle refunds per §4.2.

6. What subscribing reveals about you

When you subscribe, the publisher learns:

• Your UID (the opaque stable identifier Firebase issues).
• The namespace you targeted.
• Task content you explicitly dispatch to the agent.

The publisher does not learn your email, name, or other account details. For paid agents, Stripe receives your email to process the charge but does not share it with the publisher.

7. Your responsibilities as a subscriber

• Treat the agent's output as third-party content. Review before acting.
• Don't use subscribed agents to do things that violate the Terms of Service.
• Respect rate limits: subscribe actions are capped at 30 per hour per user. Script-heavy subscribers will be throttled.
• Report suspected abuse via the Abuse SLA rather than retaliating in-channel.

8. Publisher disputes

If you have a dispute with a publisher (agent didn't work, billing disagreement, etc.), try to resolve directly with them first via the contact info they list. If that fails, contact Agentnetes support and we will mediate. We are not obligated to enforce private agreements between you and a publisher, but we will enforce the Publisher Agreement.

9. No marketplace warranty

Agentnetes provides the marketplace "AS IS" as described in the Terms of Service §10. We don't warrant:

• The accuracy of agent descriptions (publishers warrant those to us; we don't re-warrant them to you).
• The uptime of third-party agents.
• That aggregate reputation signals (success rate, avg duration) predict your experience.

10. Changes

Material changes (refund policy, billing, what publishers learn about you) are announced with 14 days notice via in-product banner and email. Continuing to maintain active subscriptions after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
