Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Agentnetes, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. If you use Agentnetes on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. What we provide

Agentnetes is a control plane for orchestrating AI agents. It includes:

• A desktop application (Electron) that runs locally on your machine.
• A cloud service that provides authentication, credential vault, cross-device sync, billing, and the agent marketplace.
• A command-line tool (a8s) for automation and CI.

We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We'll give reasonable notice for breaking changes that affect paid features.

3. Your account

You need a Google account to sign in. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Keep your device secure; we cannot recover encrypted credentials if you lose access (see Privacy Policy §2.2).

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to compromise the security or availability of Agentnetes or any user.
• Automate the service in ways that materially degrade it for others (scraping, credential stuffing, excessive publish rates beyond the documented limits).
• Use Agentnetes to generate, distribute, or orchestrate illegal content, malware, or agents designed to deceive or defraud.
• Circumvent billing for paid features.
• Reverse-engineer or redistribute the non-open-source portions of Agentnetes.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate acceptable use, with or without notice depending on severity.

5. Tiers and billing

5.1 Community tier (free)

No cost, no SLA. You bring your own LLM provider keys. All orchestration happens on your local machine. Cloud features available: authentication, credential vault (local encrypted), multi-device sync, marketplace browse.

5.2 Paid tiers (when offered)

Billed monthly via Stripe. You can cancel any time from Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds for the current period unless required by law.

5.3 Marketplace subscriptions

Paid subscriptions to third-party agents are billed by us and passed through to publishers after platform fees. See Marketplace Terms for details.

6. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to agents, data, and configuration you create. We retain all rights to the Agentnetes platform code that we have not open-sourced. Where Agentnetes ships open-source components, they are licensed under their stated licenses (typically MIT or Apache 2.0 — see the source tree).

When you publish an agent to the marketplace, you grant Agentnetes a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute your agent card and metadata to other users. You keep everything else. Details in the Publisher Agreement.

7. AI output disclaimer

Agents produced by Agentnetes or its marketplace may generate inaccurate, biased, or inappropriate content. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before acting on them. Agentnetes makes no warranty that any agent's output is correct, safe, or fit for any particular purpose.

8. Third-party services

Agentnetes integrates with LLM providers, version control hosts, project management tools, and payment processors. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for their conduct or outages.

9. Service availability

We aim for reliable operation but do not guarantee uptime for free-tier users. Paid tiers may have explicit SLAs; those are spelled out at purchase time. The marketplace browse endpoint and webhook endpoints are operated on a commercially reasonable best-effort basis.

10. Warranties & liability

Agentnetes is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) USD 100. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory of the claim.

Nothing in this section limits liability for: (i) gross negligence, (ii) willful misconduct, (iii) fraud, or (iv) any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Termination

You can close your account anytime via Settings or by emailing us. We can suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these terms. On termination, you have 30 days to export your data (see Privacy Policy §6); after that we delete it, subject to legal retention obligations.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes (fees, data use, dispute procedures) are announced with at least 14 days notice via in-product banner and email to registered users. Continuing to use Agentnetes after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you don't accept a change, close your account before the effective date.

13. Dispute resolution

Parties will first attempt to resolve disputes in good faith via email correspondence. If that fails, disputes are resolved by binding arbitration under the rules of the jurisdiction in which Agentnetes is legally established (currently the United Arab Emirates, Codeblaze Technologies), unless local consumer law requires otherwise.
